Huddersfield is a town in the metropolitan borough of Kirklees in West Yorkshire. It is the 11th largest town in the UK, it is situated between Leeds and Manchester and near the confluence of the River Colne and the River Holme. The town is known for its role in the Industrial Revolution, and for being the birthplaces of rugby league, Labour Prime Minister Harold Wilson, and the film star James Mason.
